Hi!

I'm running Freeflight 2.0 beta with AR Drone 1.0
I updated my Drone's firmware to 1.10.13. Not tested it with 1.7.11 or any other firmware.

I'm using screen capture, but not tested recording yet.

thanks for the reply. what i'm trying to find out is if freeflight 2.0 will control the original drone as good as the freeflight 1.0? i really just want to know if it is worth updating freeflight to 2.0 or if ppl think freeflight 1.0 runs better or not with the original drone. thanks.

I have got a chance to try it out now and seemed pretty good. Was a rather windy day for testing and cant say for sure how well handling was. Flew the 1.0 with my HTC Desire and updated the firmware the day the new Freeflight launched. Got to give the drone credit as it fought the wind like a champ. I did take video and that worked rather well, if you would like to see I can try to upload and post it here. I set the altitude limiter to 5m and sorta tried to go up, it seemed to cap at 5m it but was so windy that I may have been the one bringing down. The problem I did have was that I lost control for a second while it processed the video while flying(drone was stable for that second just could not move it). Be fine if you waited to land then shut video recording off. Probably take it out again soon to really see if it as handles nice as the older firmware. Almost forgot this, felt like it got stuck going one way a couple times but each time it did that it was flying into the wind(flew with joypad mode on). Overall was really fun to play with the new features :)

Cheers!

I'm not sure if you have to. Love to say it can't hurt to try but drones may not listen to that logic. Good luck!
