Re: ar drone with bottle rockets
i gotta learn more about the circuitry in the drone i think.. i need to rig something like this up! i'm a little confused how this works and i don't have sound here at work, how do you actually trigger the rockets to fire?

Re: ar drone with bottle rockets
in previous post i use a 5.00 dollar full fuction remote toy car. only using wires that feed the drive mtr, was at 11.1 volts (drone output ) but stepped down to like 7.3 by moving pins on connector and only tapping that many volts (toy car board was over heating) have pics from older post above . very small board and efuses whitch i think are my main problem dont seem to fire off all the time

Re: ar drone with bottle rockets
Nice mod man. It would be far more elegant if you could do this via the onboard communications though. Possibly an unused gpio? I'm just starting to learn about these things and have yet to purchase one, so I'm no sure if they've left any room for expansion like that.
Nonetheless, thumbs up.
I'd really like to rig one of these out with a pepper spray canister for some non-lethal security usage. Or a taser perhaps? *muahaha*
